Voluntary Local Review Building A Sustainable And Inclusive Buenos Aires (2019)

This report accounts for the progress of the City of Buenos Aires in the 5 Goals prioritized by the High-Level Political Forum of the United Nations (SDG 4 "Quality Education"; 8 "Decent Work and Economic Growth"; 10 "Reduced Inequalities"; 13 "Climate Action"; and 16 "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions"). It represents an instance of reflection to assess the actions that need to be enhance or adjust to achieve commitments. An additional section has been included sectionf addressing SDG 5 (Gender Equality), a priority agenda for the Chief of Government, Horacio Rodríguez Larreta. Through it, the City promotes cross-cutting initiatives so that men and women have the same opportunities to grow and contribute with their talent to the development of the city. This is a great example of how global goals translate into a better quality of life in cities.
