Voluntary National Review - Brazil 2024
The Voluntary National Review - Brazil 2024 is the country's second Voluntary National Review (VNR), following the 2017 VNR. This document addresses Brazil’s efforts in relation to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), highlighting the policies and programs implemented, as well as the challenges faced and future perspectives to achieve the targets established by the 2030 Agenda.
Chapters II, III and IV contain the body of this Review. They contain assessments of the SDG targets and indicators, as well as
filling in the gaps. The principle of “leaving no one behind” of the 2030 Agenda stands out as a central commitment of the Brazilian government to promote sustainable development with a focus on social inclusion and reducing inequalities, especially in a context of profound social, economic and environmental inequalities.
