Octubre Urbano - Sustainable cities, housing and public transportation: Visions from Latin America and Asia

A sustainable future with social, environmental and economic opportunities requires important efforts in which cities play a fundamental role. Articulated public policies on urban connectivity have great potential to drive this shift towards sustainability. To this end, it is urgent to recover and strengthen the link between urban connectivity and land and housing. In this virtual meeting, Latin America and the Caribbean through the voices of ECLAC / Sustainable Development and Human Settlements Division and its Asian counterpart ESCAP / Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific, together with Latin American government authorities will share their views, experiences and challenges in this common challenge.
