Art. 3.
Constituency Councils (Amendment) Act of 2015 - Barbados

Section 5 of the principal Act is amended by

a) deleting the word “and” appearing at the end of paragraph (f); 

b) deleting the full stop appearing at the end of paragraph (g) and inserting the words “; and”; and 

c) inserting immediately after paragraph (g), the following: 

“(h) engage in fund raising activities which shall 

(i)  comply with the guidelines developed by the Ministry of Social Care, Constituency Empowerment and Community Development; and 

(ii)  be approved by the Permanent Secretary.”.

Constituency Councils (Amendment) Act of 2015 - Barbados

Amendment of section 6 of Cap. 4 

4. Section 6 of the principal Act is amended by 

(a) renumbering that section as subsection (1) thereof; 

(b) deleting the full stop appearing at the end of paragraph (c) of subsection (1) as renumbered and substituting a semi-colon; and

(c) inserting immediately after paragraph (c), the following: 

“ (d) monetary or in kind donations from 

(i) a company incorporated under the Companies Act, Cap. 308; or 

(ii) a charity registered under the Charities Act, Cap. 243.”;
